How Radiation Works

Radiation Time (RT) debuffs your battle stats. Every 7 hours 16 minutes of RT = -1% to all battle stats (rounded up).

  • 1 RT hit from Irradiate weapon = 1 hour RT = -1% stats immediately
  • 24 hours RT = -4% stats (24 / 7.27 = 3.3, rounds up to 4)
  • RT counts down in real time (1 second of RT per second)

RT Sources

Source RT Applied
Dirty Bomb (hits your faction) 21-30 days
Dirty Bomb (elsewhere in city, online) Unknown random amount
Irradiate weapon bonus (finishing hit) Yellow: ~1 hour, Red: up to ~2 hrs 16 min (8,160 seconds)
Blood Bag: Irradiated (self-use) ~8 hours

Medical Items With Radiation

Situation Can use regular FAK/Blood Bag?
Hospitalised from Dirty Bomb NO — only Neumune Tablets
Hospitalised from Irradiate weapon YES
Self-hospitalised with Blood Bag: Irradiated NO — only Neumune Tablets

Neumune Tablet: Reduces RT by -12 hours AND hospital time by -6 hours. Can only be used when you have RT.

Hazmat Suit Protection

Threat Protected?
Dirty Bomb YES
Irradiate weapon bonus YES
Blood Bag: Irradiated NO

Wear a Hazmat during wars where Dirty Bombs might be used.

Practical Notes

  • Irradiate weapons are a war tool — stack RT on enemies to progressively debuff their battle stats
  • Being hit with an Irradiate weapon once = -1% stats before the fight is over
  • Multiple hits in a war compound: 5 hits could leave someone at -5% stats for hours
  • Your Hazmat Suit slot: Motorcycle Helmet and Welding Helmet are alternatives that block Flash and Tear Gas but NOT radiation
  • Weapons and Armor (tos)
  • Battle Stats and Builds (Vladar)
  • Blood Bags
