Road to Level 15

Primary goal: reach level 15 ASAP. At level 15 you can fly abroad to earn real money.

Steps: 1. Sell losses to get starting cash 2. Buy Xanax, First Aid Kits, Ecstasy, chocolate, better property 3. Do Choco Jumps to boost stats 4. Hit leveling list targets

Selling Losses

Earn $250k+ per 25 energy spent. Find buyers in the Attacking Forum or Trading Chat. After taking Xanax (250 energy, ~$850k): sell 10 losses = ~$2.15M profit per Xanax. Always buy Xanax when you have spare cash.

Stop selling losses once you can hit leveling targets. Energy is better spent training.

First Purchases

  • Xanax (~$850k each): buy when you have cash spare
  • 30+ First Aid Kits (for losses/hospital)
  • 3-6 Morphine (for critical crime failures)
  • Rent a Ranch or better (higher happiness = more gym stats)
  • ~3 Ecstasy (for happy/choco jumps)
  • 48+ Big Boxes of Chocolate (for first choco jump, ~$3M total)

Newbie Protections

  • 14 days of Newbie Protection (green leaf icon), only other new players can attack you
  • After intro from George: buy Piggy Bank from missions, ONE TIME ONLY, never available again
  • Avoid global/newbie chat (mugger bait)
  • Scamming is legal in Torn, check forum posts + enemy/friend count before trusting anyone

Joining a Faction

Join after 3 days for perk access. Look for: - 1M+ respect (good perk selection) - Free meds/armor/weapons from armory - Good perks: Excursion (travel +10 slots), Steadfast (gym +10%), Voracity (booster cooldown +24h), Toleration (addiction -50%, OD chance -30%)

Donator Status

$5/month = +50% energy regen and capacity. Worth it long-term. Can also sell Donator Packs for in-game cash at Pawn Shop (safest) or via hospital shadow trade.

Merits Priority (Beginner)

  1. Education Length Reduction (faster course completion)
  2. Bank Investment Increase (more money from bank)

Education Priority (Beginner)

  1. BIO1340 Introduction to Biology (7 days)
  2. BIO2127 Intravenous Therapy (21 days)

Lets you fill blood bags. Better healing, shorter cooldowns, can sell filled bags for profit. Always be in a course, never waste time.

Crimes Priority (Beginner)
