Gym Training Guide 2026

Step 1: Pick a Build

4 valid paths. You must pick ONE and commit. Changing course is very hard.

MightyGoober personally recommends: Defense Whore / Forget Dexterity

Note: mug's guide (t=16252083) disagrees on Str/Spd whore — says glass cannon never works. Community leans toward Def or Dex whore only.


Step 2: Target Ratio

Example for Defense whore (DEF : STR : SPD : DEX):

Target ratio: DEF = 1.25x-1.5x your STR/SPD. DEX left at near-zero.


Gym Progression Targets

These special gyms massively increase gains:

Frontline Fitness (25E/train) - Requires: Cha Cha's unlocked AND (Str + Spd) is 25%+ higher than (Def + Dex)

Mr. Isoyamas (50E/train) - Requires: George's unlocked AND Defense is 25%+ higher than second highest stat

Training in a 50E gym = 5× the gains of a 10E gym.

Goal: Unlock George's ASAP, then shape stats toward special gym thresholds.


Training Level Gates

Under 200K per stat: Happy jump (Choco or Happy Jump). Everything else is a waste of time.

Over 200K: Minimum floor is 3 Xanax + refill + all natural energy per day. If everyone's doing this, you won't gain a single rank just from this alone — but it's your baseline.


Money Priority Order

  1. Donator status
  2. Points for daily energy refill
  3. Xanax (3/day minimum)
  4. PI or Castle rental (for happy)
  5. Full armour set (for defense modifier)
  6. Unlocking every new gym

Top Mistakes

  1. Training without PI / any happy — Paying for a PI rental is NOT wasting money. You're buying gym gains.
  2. Solo faction or dead faction — Get into a real faction for steadfast gym bonus (can be 11%+)
  3. No drugs at all — At minimum, cannabis is cheap and gets you started. Chase the 50-drug merits.
  4. Going SSL (Sex shop lady) — Much worse gains than Xanax. If you don't know what SSL is, ignore it.
  5. Waiting too long to pick a build — The sooner you commit, the easier it is to achieve special gyms.

The Ignorance Is Bliss Book for Your Neglected Stat

Once your main stat is huge (1B+) and you want to train the forgotten stat, use the book:

Ignorance Is Bliss (book): Happy can regenerate above maximum for 31 days.

Get to 99,999 Happy, then every single train for a month is a happy jump. Best way to catch up a forgotten stat without losing momentum on your main one.


Extra Gains Sources

  • Faction Steadfast: If 11%+, always train in sync with faction's steadfast rotation
  • Def/Dex city jobs: Each has a job that gives +10% gym gains for that stat
  • Fitness Centre company: +3% all gym gains, reduced happy loss on cans
  • Cans/FHCs: Expensive but combine with training book for massive gains. Only use them sustainably, not in bursts.
