Training Strategy: Quantify Your Impatience

The Core Decision
Every training choice is a tradeoff between stats now vs stats later. The maths shows patience always wins long term. But you need to decide: when do YOU want to be strong?
Basic Training (the recommended baseline)
1500E/day while living in max PI. This is: - Natural energy regen (~750E/day base) - Doubled by 3 Xanax/day - Plus 1 daily point refill (150E)
From 50M → 1B stats: ~260 days From 1B → 2B stats: ~240 days So ~1.4 years per stat to reach 1B+, and you keep up with the pack.
The most important rule: always spend Xanax + rehab money on the gym. Even at the worst possible rehab cost, Xanax training is better than spending that money on anything else.
Monthly % Increase Table (1500E/day)
| Current Stat | Monthly % from gym | Monthly % from 3 xan | FHC equivalent as SEs |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100M | 108% | 54% | 4.0% |
| 1B | 12.9% | 6.5% | 4.0% |
| 5B | 4.8% | 2.3% | 4.0% |
| 10B | 3.4% | 1.7% | 4.0% |
| 50B | 2.4% | 1.2% | 4.0% |
| 100B | 2.24% | 1.1% | 4.0% |
Key insight: SEs (Stat Enhancers) always give 4% monthly regardless of your current stat. Gym gains shrink as stats grow. The crossover where SEs outperform FHC training is around 2B per stat.
When SEs Beat Boosters
- SEs become cheaper than FHCs: around 1.6B in that stat
- SEs become cheaper than cheapest energy cans: around 2.5B
- An SE at 50B (2.4% monthly gym) is worth 2.5x more energy than at 5B
- An SE at 50B is worth 6x more energy than at 1B
Never take SEs early just because you can. They are worth exponentially more later.
Should You Do Can Training?
Can training (FHCs, energy cans) gets you to decent stats faster but gives you FEWER stats in the long run. The money spent on cans, if saved and invested, would buy SEs later that outperform the early boost.
Rule of thumb: - Under 2B per stat: cans/FHCs temporarily beat saving - Over 2B per stat: saving for SEs always wins - If you want to be strong THIS year: do can training - If you want to be strongest in 5 years: save everything, basic train
Books
Gym gains books (+30% gym gains etc.) are best used alongside FHCs, not during basic training alone. But using a book during basic training is still legitimate if you don't want to spend billions on cans.
| Training method | Days of basic training saved per book |
|---|---|
| Book + basic | +9 days |
| FHC only | +12 days |
| Book + FHC | +25 days |
The extra days from combining are real. But the $1.8B in FHCs you spent to save 2 weeks is worth months of basic training invested as SEs later.
The Money Equivalent Per Energy
If your energy is worth more than this, use it to make money instead of training:
| Current Stat | Money equivalent per 25E |
|---|---|
| 100M | $26M |
| 1B | $3.12M |
| 5B | $1.09M |
| 10B | $0.82M |
At 1B in a stat, 25E in the gym = $3.12M worth of future stats. If you can make more than that per 25E doing something else (mercing, ranked war, etc.), do that instead.
The Practical Answer for chuje Right Now
Stats are ~738K total (mid-early game). At this level, gym gains are enormous (far above the 100M row in the table). Every energy point in the gym is very valuable right now. The priority is:
- Fix stat balance first (dump everything into Dex and Speed until balanced)
- Basic train consistently: 3 Xanax/day + 1 point refill
- Don't waste money on FHCs yet, but don't skip Xanax
- Save money for when stats hit 1-2B per stat, then evaluate SEs vs cans
